暨纪念越剧诞生120周年主题晚会

七出经典折子戏，汇聚人间百态：有笑有泪，有爱有义，有少年的朝气，也有命运的低叹。

本届展演精选七出越剧经典折子戏，涵盖人间百态：有欢欣，有悲伤；有幽默，有深情；有缠绵的爱情，也有家庭伦理中的隐忍与委屈；更有世态炎凉与命运唏嘘。

三江梨园社倾力呈现，本地越剧人才与新秀精锐尽出：资深导赏嘉宾、流派中坚、青年新锐、稚嫩新秀——横跨半个世纪的越剧谱系，同台绽放。

特别荣幸地邀请到新加坡宗乡总会文化委员会主任杨应群先生担任本次演出的主宾，与各界嘉宾共襄盛举。

今年展演以 “越韵狮城，百廿流馨” 为主题，同时融入 “梨园戏话” 现场导赏环节，在丝竹弦歌间穿插专业解读。通过 “演出+导赏” 模式，为观众带来沉浸式的艺术体验，让越剧的婉约之美以更亲和的姿态走进戏迷与新知者的心田。

最大亮点：导演张莉老师阔别舞台二十余年后，从幕后重返聚光灯下！她跨越剧种与行当，以客卿之姿，倾情演绎《牡丹亭》中的柳梦梅，携手梨园社团全体演员，献上一台韵味独特、风采卓然的折子戏专场。更令人欣喜的是——两位年仅13岁与15岁的小演员也将登台亮相，见证越剧薪火相传、生生不息。

总时长约2小时，全程配有中英文字幕。

& Gala Evening Commemorating the 120th Anniversary of Yue Opera

Seven classic excerpts. A full range of emotions: joy, sorrow, love, loyalty, laughter, and tears.

This year's festival presents seven classic Yue Opera excerpts, capturing the full spectrum of human experience — joy and sorrow, humour and devotion, tender romance and the quiet endurance found in family life, as well as the harsh realities of fate and a changing world.

Presented by Sam Kiang Chinese Opera Troupe, the performance brings together local Yue Opera talents across generations: seasoned narrators, genre veterans, rising stars, and young newcomers — spanning over half a century of Yue Opera heritage, all shining together on one stage.

We are deeply honoured to invite Mr. Yang Yingqun, Chairman of the Cultural Committee of Singapore Federation of Chinese Clan Associations, as the Guest of Honour for this performance.

This year's theme, "The Charm of Yue Opera in Singapore — A Flourishing Legacy for 120 Years" is woven together with a live guided appreciation segment called "Stories Behind Opera," where professional insights are shared between the melodies of strings and bamboo flutes. Through this "performance + guided appreciation" model, the audience is invited into an immersive artistic experience, allowing the graceful beauty of Yue Opera to reach both devoted fans and first-time viewers with warmth and accessibility.

The highlight of the evening: Director Zhang Li returns to the spotlight after more than 20 years away from the stage! Crossing the boundaries of opera genres and character types, she makes a special guest appearance as Liu Mengmei in “The Peony Pavilion”, joining the entire Sam Kiang Opera ensemble to present a truly unique and captivating evening of opera excerpts. Even more heartwarming — two young performers, aged just 13 and 15, will also take the stage, bearing witness to the enduring legacy of Yue Opera, passed proudly from generation to generation.

Total duration: approximately 2 hours, with Chinese and English subtitles throughout.
