Introduction of Singapore Sam Kiang Chinese Opera Troupe (2026)

Established in 2016 under the Sam Kiang Huay Kwan, we are dedicated to preserving and promoting Yue Opera. Recognized as an overseas executive council member of the “Global Yue Opera Fan Carnival” and the Singapore chapter of “China Yue Opera Friendship Association”, our troupe is mentored by China’s Plum Blossom Award winner Li Min and Singaporean opera director Zhang Li.

We host annual performances, workshops, and training programs. The “Yue Opera Genres Arts Show” series, launched during the pandemic, has become a signature brand. Over ten years, we have sustained high-standard artistic training, and our members have won numerous accolades, including Singapore’s “Orchid Award for Outstanding Performer” and the global Yue Opera highest honour, the *Lanhua Award*. The 2023 overseas premiere of “New Year Blessing” drew a dedicated delegation from China’s “Yue Opera Home” and a cultural research team from Shaoxing Performing Arts Group. In 2025, our full-length production of “Romance of the Western Chamber” was featured in a special program by China Central Television (CCTV-4) titled “Spotlight on Overseas Culture & Arts”, broadcast globally during prime time on October 7, 2025. This honour not only affirms our artistic standards but also brings Singapore’s opera arts to the world stage.

新加坡三江梨园社简介 (2026)

新加坡三江梨园社成立于2016年，隶属三江会馆，致力于越剧艺术的传承与发展。现为”全球越剧戏迷嘉年华”海外常务理事单位及”中华越友会”新加坡站站长，本社聘请中国梅花奖得主李敏及新加坡戏曲导演张莉担任艺术顾问。

每年举办大型演出、讲座及培训，疫情期间推出的”越剧流派艺术展演”已成为特色品牌。十年来，我们得以延续高标准的艺术训练，团员屡获殊荣，包括胡姬花优秀演员奖及全球越剧票友最高奖”兰花奖”。2023年全本《祥林嫂》海外首演吸引了中国 “越剧之家” 组团专程来新加坡观摩及绍兴演艺集团的国际调研。2025年全本《西厢记》剧目荣获中国中央电视台国际频道（CCTV-4）制作专题节目《海外文化与艺术聚焦》，于2025年10月7日黄金时段向全球播出。此殊荣不仅是对艺术水准的肯定，更将新加坡的戏曲艺术推向了世界舞台。
